The NUS Education Conference brings together student representatives, activists and organisers from across Australia to discuss the challenges facing students and the future of higher education.

Across the conference, students will participate in workshops, panel discussions and strategy sessions covering student unionism, higher education policy, campaigning and organising. The conference provides an opportunity to share experiences, learn from students from other campuses and develop the skills needed to advocate for change.

The 2026 Education Conference theme is ‘Fight For Our Future’ and will be held at UTS from 29 June to 2 July.
